The Magic of Evening Time

I was recently reading back through some of my old journals and I was reminded of how much I love evening time. It seems that the whole world slows down and is calmer. As the sun sets, we turn off tv and just enjoy being together. Sometimes we sit outside as a family and watch the sunset . Sometimes we read together in the living room. It just seems to be magic. I also find that it is an excellent time for "teaching moments" with our children. Sometimes they want to talk about their day, etc and they just really seem to open up more. Maybe it's because we are all tired from our day. I just really find that the kids want to talk and it's a quiet, calm time. What is your favorite time of day? Happy Parenting! Love, JL~
